POSITION: After School Math Tutors @ Thompson Middle School
LOCATION: TMS
REPORTS TO: TMS Admin
SCHOOL YEAR: 2026-2027
JOB DESCRIPTION:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
- Present employment at Thompson Middle School
- Availability to tutor after school hours
- Math certification or ability to support math instruction preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities listed below as evidenced by previous
experience and the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regularly connects with students (via phone or meet) who are assigned to them.
- Collaborate with Teaching Staff on assignments and content to be facilitated with students
during the Tutor session.
- Create plans and strategic approaches with students to complete assignments and understand content.
- Track student progress with work completion.
- Report student progress to supporting teaching staff.
- Report student progress to the Guidance Counselor and cluster.
- Report student progress to MTSS Coordinator
- Attend three after school meetings:

- Performs any other duties stipulated by the TMS Administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: $45/ hour
